The 2026 ISBA World Meeting

June 28th - July 3rd, 2026

CHILDCARE SUPPORT & GRANTS

The 2026 ISBA World Meeting is pleased to offer childcare support for participating parents. ISBA plans to provide a limited number of grants to support childcare costs, up to 400 USD per child.

Participants receiving this grant have the flexibility to choose between an on-site childcare service at the conference venue or external childcare options in Nagoya, depending on what best suits their family's needs.

To apply for the grant and indicate your childcare preference, please complete the application form here: Childcare Application Form

1. On-Site Childcare Service

ISBA2026 has contracted with JOYSUPPO to provide on-site care for up to 18 children. For inquiries regarding the on-site childcare service, please contact Makoto Takahashi at m-takahashi@hosei.ac.jp.

As staffing requirements and costs vary by age, we cannot provide an exact estimated cost at this stage, but we anticipate that it will be between $400 and $600 per child for the duration of the conference.

If you are interested in using on-site childcare services, please fill out the application form: Childcare Application Form. You will be asked to indicate:

  • The number of children in each age range
  • The specific days you need care
  • The approximate time slots you anticipate utilizing the service
The organizers will follow up with more information regarding the finalized costs and capacity by May 15, 2026.

2. External Childcare Options

Participants may also choose to make their own arrangements using private childcare or babysitting services in Nagoya and apply the $400 ISBA grant toward these costs. For your convenience, we have compiled a list of several childcare and babysitting options near the conference venue.
